Michael Young
Senior Chartered Accountant, CA, BMS.
Michael joined the team in 2000. He graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Management Studies degree majoring in Accounting. His area of expertise is in GST and Income Tax for individuals, trusts and small to medium businesses.
In his time off work, he enjoys fishing, playing badminton and drinking red wine.

Umendra Naidu
Accountant, BBS.
Umendra joined the team in 2001 as a Junior Accountant. He completed a Bachelor of Business Studies and graduated in 2004. He is married with two children, a son and a daughter.
His interests include playing football and coaching junior football.

Bruce Redmond
Consultant
A qualified accountant since 1988, Bruce joined Whaley Harris Durney in 2016 following his retirement as a Finance Director at a firm he worked at for 30 years. He has a wealth of experience in financial and cash flow management, monthly and full annual reporting, treasury functions as well as dealing with auditors, bankers, Inland Revenue and other outside agencies. He works for us as a part time accountant.
A (relatively) new grandson, and his love of golf and most other sports keeps him very busy outside work
